My online shopping extravaganza.

Baby things I'm loving on right now...

Baby leg warmers.

(photo taken from www.babylegs.com)

There's nothing cuter than some chunky baby legs covered in leg warmers. Plus, they make diaper changes easy and protect those little knees from wear & tear once the beebs start crawling. Triple win. I purchased these for Madzilla a couple of days ago from Knotty Baby Wear on Etsy:

From that same shop, I bought an adorable long-sleeved onesie to go with it.. I can't wait for her to wear them together in the fall!

Vintage flower headbands.

I know some people hate the ridiculously huge flower headbands on babies, but I think they're precious.. Those little noggins don't have a whole lot of hair to play with, so these headbands are a great accessory.

These will be the newest headbands to join Maddie's growing collection:

Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes.

I love this toy. It plays several classical songs and lights up. What more could you ask for to keep a 3 month old entertained? Maddie loves it even more than the keyboard toy.

Mommy things I'm loving on right now...

Above the knee socks with tights.

I absolutely love tights with patterns or bold colors. I love them with above the knee socks even more. And now that I'm not preggers anymore, I can wear them & not feel like a total jackass. I ordered these from Urban Outfitters:

I also bought this dress (on sale for $15!!!) from Urban, although I'm not 100% sure it'll fit my outrageously huge - almost cartoonish - milk jugs. I had a hard time buying clothes from there that fit my rack BEFORE I got pregnant, so I'm pretty limited to stretchy tops & dresses when shopping there.

I should've used the money I spent at Urban to get a damn hair cut & color, but these damn postpartum hormones are making my hair fall out at an astronomical rate anyway.. I'll wait until I'm done shedding to prevent the risk of losing ALL of my hair. 2+ inches of roots = cuter than bald.

In other news, Maddie's pediatrician thinks she has reflux. I've been telling her that since she was two weeks old, but why would she possibly listen to her mother?! Okay, so hopefully this Zantac helps her, even though I'm not fond of having to give my little baby meds. I keep wondering if it would've made her colicky days any easier if they would've diagnosed it sooner. Sigh... We'll never know.

Other than that, Maddie is as happy as can be.. She's still trying really hard to roll over, but she'll get it in due time!

Maddie's New Toy.

Today, while shopping for my step-niece-in-law's baby shower, we bought Maddie a toy.

When we got home, we introduced her to the toy.

She was a bit of a skeptic at first.. "Pshhhh... That dinky thing? Puhlease!!"

"Ohmygod it lights up!"

"AND plays music?!"

"HOLY SHIT."

"Zzzzzz" Totally over it.

The end.
